Pension Lawyers Association 30th Anniversary — Heritage Film & Event Photography

To mark the Pension Lawyers Association's 30th anniversary, Unbreakable Media created a heritage timeline film using an archive of cover artwork spanning three decades. The film was produced before the event and shown on the main screen during the opening.

We also photographed the anniversary event, delivering 227 professionally edited images.

The project was commissioned through The Conference Company, the professional conference organiser responsible for the event.

The project

The Pension Lawyers Association wanted to recognise its 30-year history through a visual timeline of its cover artwork.

The supplied archive included a combination of JPG images and PDF files. The covers varied in size, format and layout, so they could not simply be placed into one animation without first being carefully prepared.

Our role was to turn the collection into one cohesive motion graphics film that moved chronologically from the earliest cover to the most recent.

Preparing three decades of archival artwork

Each cover had to be individually extracted and prepared for animation.

This involved:

• Extracting artwork from both JPG and PDF source files
• Cutting out and cleaning the individual covers
• Rescaling the artwork to create a consistent visual size
• Positioning covers with different proportions within one unified layout
• Preparing the full collection for animation

This detailed preparation was important because it allowed covers from different decades and design styles to sit naturally alongside one another.

Creating the heritage timeline

Once the artwork had been prepared, we built a continuous animated sequence that begins with the earliest cover and progresses through the organisation's history to the latest design.

The aim was to create a film that felt cohesive and intentional, rather than a slideshow of unrelated images. The animation gave each cover its place in the timeline while maintaining a consistent visual flow throughout the film.

Created specifically for the event's main screen, the finished video introduced the anniversary by showing how the Pension Lawyers Association's visual history had developed over 30 years.

Event photography

Unbreakable Media also provided photography at the anniversary event.

A total of 227 professionally edited photographs were delivered, creating a complete visual record of the celebration and the people who attended it.

The result

The completed heritage film transformed a mixed archive of artwork into a polished opening video that could be shared with the full audience on the event screen.

Together with the event photography, the project preserved both the organisation's 30-year history and the anniversary celebration itself.
