Before an industrial plant is installed at a mine, potential clients need to understand more than the individual pieces of equipment. They need to see the complete system, its scale and how the different components fit together.
Intagrey commissioned Unbreakable Media to document its XRT sorting plant while it was still in its pre-assembled state. The project combined ground-based filming, drone coverage, technical on-screen labels and industrial photography to create a clear visual overview of the plant before installation.

The client's need
Intagrey needed the complete plant system filmed so that potential clients could see what it looked like before it was installed at a mine site.
The finished content needed to communicate the overall scale and layout of the plant while also giving viewers a closer look at its individual components. Because the system involved specialised engineering, it was important that the film remained visually clear and helped viewers understand what they were looking at.
Combining overall scale with technical detail
We filmed the plant from both the ground and the air. Low-angle camera shots captured the height, structure and equipment details, while drone footage provided a broader view of the complete plant and the relationship between its different sections. This combination allowed the film to move logically between the complete system and the individual components that make it work.
To make the technical overview easier to follow, we added tracked on-screen callouts identifying specific parts of the plant. These labels remain connected to the relevant equipment as the camera moves, helping viewers understand both what they are seeing and where each component fits within the larger system.
Video and photography deliverables
The main 2-minute film provided Intagrey with a concise overview of the pre-assembled plant. A separate 45-second cut-down was also created for shorter promotional use.
Alongside the video production, we delivered 32 industrial photographs covering wide views of the complete plant, aerial perspectives showing its scale and configuration, individual equipment and structural details, and alternative angles for future sales and marketing use. Together, the video and photography created a flexible visual library that Intagrey could use when presenting the plant and its engineering to potential clients.
Capturing equipment before it left the site
Our work with Intagrey also included a separate, time-sensitive shoot to film a conveyor belt before it left the site. This footage was not captured for an immediate edit. Instead, it was retained as part of Intagrey's footage library for possible future content.
Industrial equipment frequently moves between workshops, project sites and client locations. Once a piece of equipment has been dispatched or installed, the opportunity to film it under controlled and accessible conditions may no longer be available. Capturing it at the right time preserves a valuable visual record that can be used in future sales, project and company content.

Following a small number of requested refinements, Intagrey approved the completed XRT sorting plant film.
